This amplifier is design by Broadcast Warehouse, my friend redraw schematic and redesign the pcb,i hope some day i will build it in Indonesia..
until that day. now still finding where can i get the transistor in Japan, may be its more cheap than in Indonesia, the most wanted Transistor is Mosfet BLF 278 and SD1407.

You need the BLF244 and the SD1407 for that amplifier not BLF278! Im bilding it now its UK design from broadcast warehouse

Looking at the photo of the finished PCB I notice that Mr Henry did not use the metal clad capacitors shown on the schematic on the output match and the LPF
Does anyone have an idea what type is used? And what the benifits of using metal clad over other types

Has anyone got this design to work?
I am no great designer of RF kit but I think the design id flawed!
C18 is missing from the photo and also does not have a value on the schematic looking at other versions of this design I think C18 needs to be around 800pf and you must use SEMCO metal clad capacitors to cope with the heat/current
The output LPF looks a bit iffy with all 33pf caps and again no mention of metal clad which must be used at this stage
Any thoughts ?/
